Jason Mraz



This particular photo shows his love for music as he plays his guitar. He seems extremely at ease while playing suggesting its not hard work, it comes natuarly for him. The relaxed pose also suggests his music calms him, it is something that takes him away to another place where he has no worrys or cares.

 Jason Mraz is an American singer-songwriter born in Mechanicsville, Virgina in June 1977. Jason has many stylistic influences such as reggae, pop, rock, folk, jazz and hip hop. His debut album, 'waiting for my rocket  to come' was released in 2002 but it wasnt until his second album, 'Mr. A-Z' was released that he achieved commercial success. However Jason is most well known for his most recent album, 'We sing. We dance, We steal things.' which was released in 2008. This is when his international breakthrough came when the single 'Im yours' was released.  

Most phots of Jason are very natural showing him looking laid back and at ease. This style matches his music and it is very calm and easy to listen to as if not much effort has had to be put in. This could also suggests that his music comes very natuarly to him aswell.

I personally think Jason looks much more unfortable in this photo compared to others. Hes giving direct mode of addresses and is posing awkwardly. This suggests prehaps he is being told what to do whereas on the other images we see of him he poses very natuarly this implies that he may not like being told what do to prefering to have more freedom. This would also link to his music and most of his songs he has written himself.

On this photo we see a completely different side to Jason. The image gives off a much more rock punk theme compared to the much calmer laid back images we normally see of him. The electric guitar suggests he is prehaps thinking about a change in his style of music which would appeal to a wider audience.
