Web 01
Web 01 first came along in 1993. Web 01 was very simple; it included hyperlinks between web pages. The web 01 included tables in order to help set the web pages out, frame sets used to place to web pages side by side and HTML links.
Web 02
Web 02 involved its audience much more the web 01. Web 02 allowed users to interact and collaborate with one another. When looking at web 02 the main examples associated with it would be social networking sites, blogs, wikis, video sharing sites, hosted services, web applications, mashups and folksonomies. Overall web 02 was much more user friendly as the users could interact and take part more in what was happening.
Web 03
Web 03 is seen as a convergence of the virtual and physical world. The idea of web 03 is that the computer will generate all the information and the human can sit back and do nothing. To me personally web 03 seems a way for humans to become very lazy and dependant upon web 03 as we expect it to so everything for us. This is where the idea of the search bar was introduced.

Could we live with only the internet for one month?
Yes, it is quite possible.
On the Internet these days you can do pretty much anything. Food would be the main priority and this can simply be ordered online from places such as 'Dominos Pizza'. You can also order many other things off the Internet such as clothes. As well as these necessities you can download music and films for entertainment of various different sites and programmes such 'iTunes' and 'iPlayer'. You could even create your own videos to entertain others through uploading them to 'You Tube'.
The Internet is also a great way to make money so you wouldn't go out of pocket. You could sell your old things using sites such as 'eBay' and 'GumTree'. You would never become lonely either as you could stay in contact with friends and family through social networking sites such as 'Face Book'. Also another great way to speak to people is 'Sykpe'. This allows you to video call the person so you can see them and speak to them as if they are actually there sat in front of you. The internet is also full of porn. This would come in useful if you got sexually frustrated and needed to releave yourself.

Magazine History Research
NME
The beginning -
The magazine was first published on 7th March 1952 with a rock and roll genre. In November 1952 it was the first British paper to include a singles chart.
The 60's -
In the 60's the magazine featured many new and up coming bands such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Towards the end of the 60's some areas of pop
music began to be designated as rock at this time the paper had a tense rivalry with fellow music paper melody maker. However NME had very good sales selling as many as 200,000 issues per week making it the best selling British music magazine.
The 70's -
During the early 70's the paper found itself on the verge of closure by its owner IPC as the coverage of the paper had failed to keep peace with the development of rock music. Alan Smith was made editor and given a short time to turn things around. Through this the papers coverage had a dramatic change from an uncritical, showbiz orientated paper to something more smarter, hipper, more cynical and funnier than the paper had previously been. Smith hired and assisant Nick Logan and later handed his editors chair to Logan in 73 by this time the paper was selling 300,000 copies per week. 78 Logan moved on and Neil Spencer was made editor. During Spencers time as editor the paper saw the emergance of post punk acts such as Joy Division. The paper also became more openly political during the time of punk, it included many youth orientated issues rather then just musical acts.

Flat plans
Here I have created some flat plans for my front cover, contents page and double page article. These will help me figure out where to put each of the conventions to best attract my target audience before I make my final magazine.

Photoshoot
Here are the photos that i took to use in my music magazine
For the photo shoot we experimented with different angles and the lighting. We used the tripod to hold the camera in place and so it was easy to create the angle we wanted by moving the tripod up and down of by tilting the camera. The read head lights we used helped us to make creative angles and emphasise the lighting in certain areas. Furthermore we also used filters with the redheads to create different coloured images. I got the people involved in my photo shoot to wear colours such as reds, purples and blacks as these are some of the colours associated with my social group. Additionally I asked them to wear edgy clothing and have extreme makeup and hair as all of these things represent my genre and target audience.
These are the first photos we took in class...
The electrice guitar used in these photos represents the genre of the magazine (rock alternative) as electric guitars are associated with this type of music.
This image of a band shows them pulling moody expressions and wearing quite dark, edgy clothing. This reflects the target audience for my magazine as the social group I am targeting wear simpliar clothing.
I used a pink fliter with this image. The colour and facial expressions contrast. This could represent the idea of the target audience contrasting with the rest of the world as they are different.
The pink filter used in this image reflects the artists happy expression as pink is associated with love and happieness. This could reflect the idea that reading the magazine will make you happy.
These are some photos that were taking of us taking the photos...
Me and my friend rented a camera out of college and took some photos at home...
The colours used in these photos (red, black) are associated with my target audience and genre of my magazine. Therefore these images will allow the audience to know it is a magazine that will interest them as they will be attracted to these images.
The way the artist is looking straight at the camera here addresses the reader directly and invites them to read the magazine/article.
This image has a very rock/edgy feel about it. The guitar and the facial expression of the artist give a fun rock style. This image could almost represent a gig.
This image would be particuarly good to use for my front cover as the bright colours would grab the audiences eye and the audience will beable to see immediatly the genre of the magazine.
This image is rather intimatdating as the artist looks down at the camera. This could be associated with the target audience as many of the older generation find this particular image quite intimadating.
Again these next few images also represent the target audience. The colours used, the guitar and the dark clothing and hair style are all associated with my target audience and the genre of my magazine.
The strange angle this photo has been taken could refer to the strange style and alternative genre of music the target audience listen to.
These images are much more light and happy but the electric guitar and amp lets the audience know that the artist is still associated with rock music.
Although this image is rather feminine the dress contrasts with the black tights and backcombed hair. Therefore making the audience still aware this is a rock/alternative artist.

These images of a band show clearly there are associated with rock music. They are pulling moody expressions. Their clothing is dark and they have the style of my target audienece.
These images of this band would be good to use for my double page article. I could do an interview on the band as the photos look like they were taken for an interview.
These last three images are not as rock as the others but the dark clothing and the moody poses could almost be associated with pop rock therefore they could still be fearured in my magazine.
