Paramore

Paramore is an American rock band, however their music has generally been regarded as 'emo' and 'pop punk'. Their most recent album 'All we know is falling' has been said to be a 'refined rock infused pop/punk album'. Paramore use their image to promote their music, the clothes they wear and their hairstyles reflect the type of music they make, letting people know what their music genre is. For instance Paramore generally wear skinny jeans with converse, dark coloured makeup and the male's in the group have long hair and wear dark clothing, also a few members have facial hair. A similar band to Paramore would be Fall out boy who are also an American rock band but again, like Paramore have been regarded as a pop punk band and have also been described as 'emo'. Fall out boy have worked with a number of artisits from very different genres from their own such as Timbaland, Lil' Wayne and Kanye West. Artists do this to appeal to a greater audience.

Kanye West has a different genre to bands like Paramore and Fall out boy. In his early days he was referred to as a sould artisits and used many of his own insturments such as the drums. However in his most recent years Kanye has become asscociated with hip hop music and has been regareded as a rapper. Although Kanye makes hip hop music he has stated himself that he prefers to listen to rock music, this prehaps could link to why he collaberated with Fall out boy.
