Web 01, 02 and 03

Web 01
Web 01 first came along in 1993. Web 01 was very simple; it included hyperlinks between web pages. The web 01 included tables in order to help set the web pages out, frame sets used to place to web pages side by side and HTML links.

Web 02
Web 02 involved its audience much more the web 01. Web 02 allowed users to interact and collaborate with one another. When looking at web 02 the main examples associated with it would be social networking sites, blogs, wikis, video sharing sites, hosted services, web applications, mashups and folksonomies. Overall web 02 was much more user friendly as the users could interact and take part more in what was happening.

Web 03
Web 03 is seen as a convergence of the virtual and physical world. The idea of web 03 is that the computer will generate all the information and the human can sit back and do nothing. To me personally web 03 seems a way for humans to become very lazy and dependant upon web 03 as we expect it to so everything for us. This is where the idea of the search bar was introduced.
